Such a gem of a place. Lots to see in the shop. Menu all Dad's army related. I had corned beef hash with an egg on top and it was served in a Billy can. Very dog friendly too.

Too my Mum and Dad for afternoon tea today, it was booked for 1 o clock, due to road closure we didn't get there until 1,30. The staff were very understanding. The afternoon tea i booked was for 3 with 1 being gluten free. We was thrilled with the huge selection of sweet and savoury items, these included, sandwiches of your choice, sausage roll, cheese straw,a slice of quiche. Scone with cream and jam, and a selection of cakes. We didn't eat all of the cakes, the staff was happy to give us boxes to take them away! If there was more stars to give i would definitely give more. A lovely afternoon tea in a quirky tearoom. Definitely would recommend a trip to poppylands.

This was our 2nd visit and we have hugely enjoyed both visits. Once without and once with a dog in tow. Very welcoming and friendly staff with such a delicious breakfast. We didn't have to eat for the rest of the day as there was so much. The sausages were fabulous and our dog enjoyed his doggy dinner too. We will be back multiple times I'm sure. Highly recommend

Visited as a family (youngest age 4) for the first time with grandparents and super impressed. Lovely quality food, impeccable decor and friendly staff. Beautiful gift shop that is well stocked and the nicest staff behind the till. Would recommend, clearly gets busy so would book. We were lucky to get a table for 5 as walk in but was a random Thursday during term time and was still busy!

Lovely, quirky tearoom to visit! Scones were freshly baked and huge! 2 cup tea pot could get about 6 cups out of it. Pricing was extremely reasonable and quality was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

Lovely little place to have a meal or even just a cake. It's got so much wartime memorabilia all around the first and ground floor. The food options are varied and plentiful. We got lucky and managed to order food just in time to still get breakfast. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Not more you can ask for!

What a lovely place. Very 1940'! The food was great. The displays were.great and my mum particularly enjoyed reading the magazine and the exercise book. I 100% loves the tea-cosies and would loved to have been able to buy ampattern to make some from the shop. We will definitely visit again.
